Maria Salas

Maria serves as our teacher's aide at Edgewood House. She has several years of experience working with children, including nannying for families both independently and through a nannying company. She also spent two years teaching at Odyssey Preschool, first as a substitute teacher and later as an assistant teacher. These experiences supported Maria's growth as a caregiver and educator and helped her develop a strong understanding of young children’s needs and the importance of creating a caring, supportive, and engaging environment. She has completed ECE coursework and is currently continuing her education and professional development by taking additional courses in Early Childhood Development.
